According to the National Restaurant Association’s 2014 Forecast, food trucks make up one of the fastest growing sectors of the restaurant industry, with 2013 sales of nearly $700 million, or about 1% of total US restaurant sales. A 2012 study by Emergent Research projected that food truck revenue would quadruple to $2.7 billion by 2017. With such a growing market I have discovered a growing demand for information on new trucks on the road and also information on how to start your own. My name is Oscar Torres and I have been a food truck business owner since February of 2015. I am also now apart of The Houston Blogger Collective group . As I have gone down this journey I have discovered some of the best food I have ever tasted on food trucks and want to share it with the world. My second goal is to also provide any information I can on how to start your own food truck as well. Stay tuned!
